Play nice tonight please spuds. Don't want any dipper injuries for Saturday. Not too fussed about score, hoping for a good game.

who`s the ref and how many dipper will be shown red
Good question. Shouldn't be a good question, refs playing too big a part just recently.

Don't know the answer!

will struggle without Adebayor and Defoe. VDV is replaceable and rarely shows up in a big game.

can see a shootout, 3-2 to Liverpool

this season has been the worst i can remember for poor poor poor decisions, and when i first started watching, city used to kick a mastodons testicle up and down the pitch

definitely want a Tottenham win. If they lose today 'Arry will be like 'we were never going for the title, we're happy just to get fird' which will have him lay down against United.

Is Adebayor, Walker, VDV all fit for tonight?

I'd not thought of that and as much as I'd love to laugh at Spurs, if them winning gives us a better chance of winning the prem then I'll go for that.
I'm going to feel dirty cheering them on.

Surprised some of you wanting a Spurs win. Win or lose they'll be up for it against the rags in a months time. Are you going to want them to win all games til then?

Only watched the second half, scousers were all over em. They looked frustrated and clueless going forward

Didn't think Liverpool were all over Spurs at all. They see a lot of the ball but didn't really do anything with it. I think Friedel only had to make one save all match and that was straight at him.

I'm happy with the point really. Liverpool are hard to beat at home. That was our gameplan and it worked out ok really.

Bale should have scored really but it just wasn't to be.

My only beef with todays game is Andy Carroll constantly swearing at the ref and getting away with it, and someone flashing lazer pen in Dawson and Ekotto's face during the game

I think that this game effectively showed that Spurs don't think they could challenge the title anymore and that they're setting themselves to secure CL spot in this run of games (Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle and United).

They didn't even try to win and that's what you're doing (trying to win) when you're 5 points behind and genuinely think you're able to catch it.

Bale was dogshit tonight

and adebayor is doing what he does at every club , plays good when he joins then fades.....away.

Good point for Spuds that
Good for top 4 spot. Not good for top spot. Their safety first approach suggests given up on top spot
To be fair to them, they shouldn't try to do too much too soon. If they had gone out to win that and it back fired, they could risk losing out on top 4 altogether. They know they're not winning the title, so during this tough run of games their plan is probably to not lose. I didn't expect it and its smart from whoever is running the show there (if it works of course).
