Yes they did ask questions relating to how it came to be formed in 1909(?) and how the man who became club secretary pushed some Minister downstairs because he disagreed about them forming a football club!Granted you do have to have a few specialised subjectsi and I guess questions about players or games 50 / 60 years ago could have been asked.

I know exactly what you mean about the subjects although the Borussia one was the most ‘frivolous’ of the 4 tonight. I have noticed a couple of times this season that the General Knowledge round has pulled a few people through.

The Beast got the easier questions in the last bit, I hate that, they're professional quizzers, give them the harder ones for god's sake.. rather than do you want set A or B it should be do you want the harder questions or the easier questions?
