How the hell did June Brown live till she was 95 when she smoked like 40 a day.
Life is very strange, anyway a great actress and lady RIP.

My Grandad was in the war when they gave cigarettes out, he smoked 50 a day. When he was 50 he had a massive heart attack. He survived carried on working and smoking. He lived until he was 80 and died peacefully in his sleep.

Nice story about your grandad that mate, he sounded like a really tough guy surviving that heart attack and carrying on, I think it might have something to do with they got more exercise back in the 1930s, 40s and 50s than we do now, not many cars about so everyone did more walking, which helps in later life I don’t know.

Just realised it was Maureen not Sharon who died. Sharon was Carol Hawkins of course who was gorgeous !
