It is hard to think there were only 12 episodes of Fawlty Towers. Prunella Scales' "Basil" will forever be iconic.

I watched last night's episode too and I actually don't remember this one, and actually I'd say it was far from the best of the 12 - the obvious ones being the Don't Mention The War episode, The Car thrashing episode and the one with the Australian Girl with the big t*ts.

Colin Addison - former Forest and Arsenal striker, but probably best-known as player-manager of the Hereford United side that beat Newcastle in the 1972 FA Cup. Many nowadays don’t realise that game was actually a replay and in the prior 2-2 draw at St James’ Park, Addison scored a goal that was supposedly the equal of, if not better than, Ronnie Radford’s legendary screamer. Unfortunately, there were no cameras there that day though.
He went on to manage a load of clubs in England and Spain, including Atletico Madrid and Celta Vigo.
Was well known for being a true gent and lovely man. I met him once and can attest.
