The World Cup Final.

Rooting for Argentina, how good would it be to welcome on the pitch three World Cup winners in the first home match against the Scousers, love it #FACT

"Brazil, tell me how it feels to have your daddy in your house. I promise that although it’s been a while, we will never forget that Diego [Maradona] schooled you, [Claudio] Caniggia eliminated you, [and] you’re crying since [the 1990 World Cup in] Italy until today! You will see Messi, he will bring the Cup home. Maradona is better than Pelé! "

You have to say that this German team deserves it, they've been by far the most consistent side of the last decade.

Still, I would absolutely love to see City's Argentine contingent lift the cup. Also if Messi wins the World Cup we can finally put to bed this bollocks about him not doing it on 'the world stage.'

I will astonished if Argentina will be as wide open as Brazil were against Germany in the semi-final.

Brazil seemed to have been an open team anyway in this tournament whilst Argentina have been a reasonably solid outfit who look like they want to stun the opposition first and then rely on Messi magic to get them a goal.

Argentina will give you chances but I do think since Demichelis has come in they have looked one of the more solid teams that have been involved in this World Cup, Mascherano in particular has been outstanding protecting his back four.

I think Germany will win but I am desperately hoping our lads come back as champions, I also think for Messi to finally become a great would be a sight that will be stay with me forever and a moment that I can say I witnessed.

Come on Argentina, believe.

Sounds a class song that, are they the words? Would love it if England had a decent team and reached a major final, the whole country would be buzzing and there would be scenes like this in every town. But nope, we're stuck with Roy and his shit bunch of twats. Depressing.

I love Argy fans, I'm always watching videos of Argentine club fans singing. They're the best in the world.

Probably the most consistent team ever. This is their eighth WC final, eighth! Remarkable.

They also been in six European Championships finals.

Quite brilliant international record!

Here's another video of the "Maradona es más grande que Pelé" chant:
