The worst thing about farcical officiating

To be fair, his PR team told him what to say:

"I just stopped. Obviously, if I thought I was onside then I can go on take the ball towards goal. But I realised I'd probably gone a little bit early and I just slowed down completely, I don't think I was in the line or blocking any of their defenders so I didn't know why it wouldn't stand".

Which is A COMPLETE FABRICATION, AKA a fucking LIE.
Which is also obvious to a 4 year old watching the footage who knows what stop and go mean

Never heard of Calciopoli?

From wiki. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calciopoli

"It was a sports scandal in Italy's top professional association football league Serie A and to a lesser extent Serie B. Involving various clubs and numerous executives, both from the same clubs and from the main Italian football bodies (AIA, FIGC, and LNP), as well as some referees and referee assistants, the scandal was uncovered in May 2006, when a number of telephone tappings showed relations between clubs' executives and referee organizations during the football seasons of 2004–05 and 2005–06, being accused of selecting favourable referees."
I remember Sluralix getting a ref banned from reffing rag games for a long time....

What gets to me the most is it's not subtle anymore, I thought the call against Wolves was the most blatant bad call of the season until yesterday. I can live with VAR missing a 50/50 penalty call, or calling a close offside one way to the other I'm used to that after years and years of watching the game. What I'm not used to us refs blatantly influencing results like they did yesterday and the Wolves/Scousers game.

Now we have PGMOL justifying blatantly bad decisions and referees nearly every other game. It's a disgrace and something needs to be done about it. I don't expect it to though that requires the refs, the FA and co admitting they've made mistakes. Plus the commentary of the game just ignored it and barely covered it, so they're in on it as well it felt like anyway.

I've always enjoyed our success cause deep down I've known it's against the authorities wishes.....just yesterday it was that blatant I still can't believe it happened and am still furious about it. I can live with losing fair and square but not like that.
Meanwhile the rags celebrate their pyrrhic victory and snaffle the
3 points out of the pigs trough...

Let’s pretend it didn’t lead to a Fernandes shot, let’s pretend Fernandes wasn’t even there.

Let’s pretend instead that Akanji had taken Rashford’s legs (a clear foul and potentially last man) then it wouldn’t have mattered because VAR would’ve looked at it and said Rashford was offside initially so no foul or red (having said that it’s Old Trafford so you never know).

Can’t have offside in one scenario and not in another, you’re either off or you’re on, and offside ‘starts’ the moment the ball leaves Casemiro’s boot.

We're both still talking about the original point lol. You've invented a conversation all for yourself.

You keep spouting the same bollocks points about "no player would give away a throw-in to make a few bob" when no-one is even claiming this in the first place... It's called a straw man, but if that's what helps you maintain your delusion then go for it...

All you've done is show yourself up as naive and as someone who doesn't actually have a clue what they're talking about.
Of course I haven’t a clue, I only worked in the game for 30 years, I’m always looking to learn but this was my specialised industry and I doubt you will ever understand the difference in what’s theory over reality, bit of an insult but carry on with your subjective opinion.

Offiside but not interfering, thicker lines when deciding offside , time added on in time added on for overcelebrating all.decisions favouring the rags all decisions won't be made/heard of again
