Im surprised some of you lot didn't kill yourselves when a few years ago the only signing was michael ball.

To be fair a little bit of me died when he joined.

Walcott? He'll bring pace and if Bob can get into his head unlike Wenger he could be a player. Not improved at Arse but playing with wwaker and weaker players there wont help.

Ha some people just cant see what RM is trying to do..and thats add pace to our team. Milner and Kolorov are not the answer to the system he wants and this is where players like Walcott and Sinclair come in.

I`d take both which would cover both wings.

Strange how Walcott is stalling on a new deal at Arse. I think someone has been whispering in his ear that he can earn X amount more elsewhere..could be us.

Nobody is arguing that he doesn't have pace.
Peter Barnes had pace.
But 90% of his crosses ended up on the roof of the North Stand.
Walcott has the distribution of a blind postman, couldn't tackle a fish supper, and freezes on the big occasion.

i can see walcott going to liverpool,

I also think they might be a more attractive alternative for him. Even though a bunch of his mats are here with us, Liverpool should be bale to guarantee him more playing time on an equally attractive contract.

You are making Arsenal sound like Notts County and Wenger sound like Dalglish there!

This forum amazes me sometimes.

All last year, people complaining about having pace in the team. (I didn't see anyone asking for someone with huge pace AND the technical ability of David Silva). We're interested in the fastest two English wide players, but that isn't good enough.

You realise, someone of Walcott's pace, with Silva's ability, would probably cost more than £30-40m?

He's more than good enough to be an outlet, counter attack, then give it someone else. A big improvement from last year.

It's not all about Marquee signings, it's about filling small gaps and tweaking.

That player you've described is Eden Hazard, and we've dropped a massive bollock by not signing him.

Would be happy with Walcott as a plan B to come on against tired defenders last 20 minutes. Much prefer him to Sinclair.

Eden Hazard does not have David Silva's ability (Vision, Creativity). Just fucking no.

Not now,but he will.

We're so lucky to have so many football experts here. Don't know why we bother with a scouting team and manager.
