Wtf guys, you are talking about bringing in cavani falcao bale thiago fernandinho and lewandowski. Hope you are being sarcastic...

I never mentioned Cavani or Falcao.

It sounds very much like Falcao is going to Monaco, (unless it's a smokescreen !)

And Cavani, could go to us, Chelsea, Real Madrid, et al..

If he's available and for the quoted £20 million or a few million less then it should be a no brainer really, Considering his ability, age and talent need to get this sorted asap if its possible.

I remember Tolmie saying we had chats with his people a little out of the blue last summer, but decided to stick around and fight for a place at Barca IIRC. Perhaps it hasn't gone the way he was hoping this year and he's put himself back on the market. Regardless if he's available and we can't get Fabregas, he surely needs to be bumped to the top of our transfer list?

Coughs!

If he's for sale, he will be at City.

We were very aggressive in our interest last summer with Barca. The lads knows it, his dad knows it.

You would have to thank Brian Marwood for it, though. He heard a whisper the lad was not happy with a few things.

At one stage, I thought he would be one of the major bombs to go off.

Perhaps this bomb was on a timer!

C'mon, Cheeky, do yer stuff!
Good shout! All we can do now is hope the club will persuade him to join us!

Assuming he's part of Txiki's (and Pellegrini's) plans of course! If Marwood set the wheels in motion, perhaps he's no longer considered a target? (He is the sort of player you'd just make room for though).

Seems the general consensus emanating from pretty much everywhere is players like playing under Pellegrini. Could be a precursor to a great summer if we get him announced early doors.

What type of player is he? I always thought he was an attacking central midfielder, but some of you are writing as if he's box to box?

I had a feeling his name would turn up this summer..this is a man that we have to get..it's a must an absolute must

He's yet to really find his position if you know what I mean. He has the vision and passing ability to become a deep-lying playmaker but is quite slight. Then again, he has the dribbling ability to be a top attacking midfielder. He's just a CM really, but a supremely gifted one at that.

Just watch a little of him on YouTube, yes I know.

The guy's control and vision looks fantastic and if we could sign him then we will have a real player on our hands and one that will only get better. Only 22 years old.

A question, if he signs and I hope he does, how does he fit with the players we have and the potential signings of Isco, Fernandinho and Navas?

Could do well partnered with Fernandinho from what I've seen of him, which granted is sporadic.
