Things in films I just don't get

Why do the baddies employ blind people to protect their den? Fifty armed men with machine guns can't hit one intruder - yet he can take each and every one of them out with a pistol.

How do these people get away with building huge bases without anyone noticing - noteably the local council planners?

Why are there always cardboard boxes down the back streets in car chases? I've cut through a few tonight on way back from taxiing to and from MEN Arena and didn't see any significant numbers of boxes anywhere?

1) Scenes that are SUPPOSEDLY taking place at night, yet the lens filter they put on the camera of the DAYTIME SHOOT is unable to get rid of all the shadows!! Why not just film it AT NIGHT?!

I've worked on a lot of night shots for TV. It's amazing just how much lighting is required for a night shoot.

Doesn't matter how much of a beating someone takes, their injuries are never more than a small cut under their eye and a bit of a bruise on their cheek. Maybe even a bit of blood coming from their nose. You see someone that has really had a good hiding and their head is swollen to twice the size, eyes so inflamed they can hardly see through them, and their face and shirt literally covered in blood. Probably have a tooth missing too. I don't get why they don't why they don't make the injuries look more convincing.

A guy goes after the other guy for the whole film, finally gets to the point where he has him, pulls out the gun but then....Points the gun at the guy and has a 30min conversation about why he's pissed off or whatever else.

I mean if you're going to kill some f*cker and you have the chance, you'd fire your weapon within a few seconds.

In too many films everything is just tooooo perfect.
From word pronunciation to looking like beauty queens after nearly dying in a car crash.

The american films wherein the British are made to look like needy little bitches.
Can't think for the life of me what film it is, but the Americans contact the British guys and we're like...
"Well its about time!" Like we couldn't do anything ourselves so we had to hope the godly Americans would save us!
