it rather amused me tbh, was in 118, game was a bit slow in the first half and bombarding the photographers and stewards with paper gave a fair few people a smile and a chuckle, it was light hearted fun.

I was there and in the south stand

like a lot of people I thought that the childish fuckers doing it were:

a) morinic and infantile in their behaviour
b) causing issues on the pitch allowing Villareal to justify delaying tactics
c) leaving the club open to some UeFA charge
d) totally disrespecting CITY, our management and by extension our owner - CITY had put out the placards to help fans - guess they will think twice in future
e) and for the reasons above those doing it were clearly juvenile or thick but either way self-centered fuckwits

the vast vast majority of fans realise that just because a few of the stewards are over doing their little bit of power, most of them are doing a job they have to do to pay the bills and are pretty much ok.
