the investment whats been put into our club and your moaning about us trying sell a few extra tickets.

some short sighted people about.

Selling a few extra tickets?

Why? Has the ground been empty this season? Do you expect these games to have thousands of empty seats if this daft scheme isn't implemented?

If you think that this scheme is designed as a desperate attempt to sell thousands of tickets that blues wouldn't take up then you are mental.

And what has investment into the club got to do with attempts to squeeze fans and change the demographic of City fans?

I won't hold my breath for your answer.

That says it all, I think.

Guesing.

2 things.

As others have pointed out, it's probably part and parcel of gauging demand for any possible stadium expansion.

Also. To get the money in ASAP, regardless of City maintaining a title challange or not.

I can't see the demand being high as the price could end up more than what the tickets would normally be sold for and none are against top opposition.

Most people who want to go 5 home games in a row are the type who generally have season tickets.

Well pound to a penny they sell out quickly. Chelsea has sold out a month before the game and potentially these 5 games could be more important. As much as these games would sell out anyway, as someone has pointed out it ensures the club guarantees arses on seats even if we can't win the league. Again I think this is to gauge demand for expansion purposes.

Looks like i wont be doing many more games this season then.

Simply cant afford £40.00,£50.00 a match these days. The money simply isn't there.

I have a son at University who snaps a ticket up for me and him at £15.00 a throw, when some the tourists cant be arsed going they get some tickets.I have not missed many games just the RAGS up to now,and Liverpool is looking doubtful.

I wrote to the Club last season regards the Value Season Tickets.I think there should be a lottery for all membership card holders to apply for one.I think the current system is unfair.

A lot of supporters are struggling financially and wont be able to afford paying that.

Another scheme dreamed up by some wanker with a spreadsheet entitled "How to squeeze every single penny out of genuine City fans" whilst his mate, the author of the report "How to make it possible to have more gloryhunting nobs at important matches" chips in with valuable advice.

i think having more gloryhunting nobs at important matches is the way forward.

how are you going to fill an 80,000 seater stadium?

not with 30,000 hard core supporters.

i bet your gutted we left hyde road.;)

Slightly off topic but I see hte Wigan tickets are for sale now for £20 adults.

What if we get to 6th round of FA Cup and the Wigan match is moved to midweek & I can't go anymore - can I return my ticket and get a refund?

Bump. Help would be appreciated! I'll give the club a call tomorrow if I dont' get an answer but it would jsut be easier/cheaper this way :)

I would have thought that just like a Seasoncard you are stuck with the ticket mate.
If that game sells out, which I'm sure it will, you could always flog it in the Ticket Section to someone less fortunate who can't commit to paying for all 5 games.
Ring the club anyway for proper advice mate.
