Ticket Office again!! (Arsenal) Joke

Why can't the ticket office ever seem to get anything right?

Myself, Dad & 2 Brothers wanted 4 tickets for Arsenal away (Seasoncard holders). I phoned up yesterday morning and was told that tickets have sold out.

However, it looks like they had only actually sold out this morning at around 10am……absolutely gutted and miffed as we really wanted to watch this one :(

Anyway, rant over, and at least its on ESPN so will be able to (touch wood) see City get a hat-trick of wins over Arsenal this season whilst saving the ticket & travel money.

they take your details incase there aare some returns

They may do this, but a lot of people we're told they would be called back, If someone says they will call you back then either way positive/negative news should be communicated!

Its poor form, I understand that demand is far higher than tickets available but ffs don't just take details to get rid of your customer!

how do you know they wont the match is a few weeks away returns take a while to come back

just been on to the ticket office, I got told that we have sold all of the initial 2000 tickets.

An extra 1000 are on the way from Arsenal and should be here today. The number of people who have rang up since friday/saturday an left their details as a pre order has now exceeded the number of additional tickets we are geeting, hence the website now saying they are sold out.

When the additional tickets arrive they will be distributed to the people who left their details in order of when they left them (its basically gunna be a lottery)

What a fucking joke the ticket office is. How can they:
a) only request 2000 tickets in the first place
b) drop the loyalty points criteria by 1000 per day when there is still 5 weeks till the game

They need to get a fan on board there to advise them ASAP

you snooze you lose, arsenals always a quick seller. My mate was a bit late gettin his so had to leave his name and number, he got a text on sunday letting him no he had a ticket

Good shout mate ive got 3900 points but only put my name down yesterday, I reckon we will just have to wait and see. The biggest joke is how the fuck they were allowed to drop the point by 1000 per day considering we only had 2000 tickets! they were taking bookings off any season card holder yesterday FFS!

It's an absolute joke. I feel slightly better reading this thread knowing I'm not the only one who's had problems. I have been phoning since Saturday and called back every time they told me to. It wasn't until yesterday late in the afternoon they told us to leave our details. I was really annoyed. Had they said that to me on Saturday morning I may have stood a chance of getting the tickets.

Unbelievably incompetent. I then tried to submit an online complaint about it and even that wouldn't work. I had to complain about not being able to complain!

fair point mate, but
a) Arsenal away at £33 with 3 games of the season to go when were going for a Champions league place, come on someone at the ticket office should have the common sense to take the 3000

b)1000 points per day is to quick, what about the people who cant order tickets on their chosen day or havent got the money on that day, each points bracket should have atleast 2-3 days, the game is 5 weeks away!
