Ticket Shambles Tonight - Disgraceful

Not certain why,but I received two e-mails yesterday early morning from City,confirming my card had been activated and confirmation of Seat Allocation for both ST`s me and the lad have.
E-mail told me to print them off and bring them to the game,to avoid any problems.
Seems strange,but did anyone else have the same e-mail ???
Also had the same e-mails sent on the day I purchased them,early last week.

Didn't get the email but my cards wouldn't work, had to get that guy with the hand held thing to get me in.

They're obviously trying to tell you something Bill;-) It's actually quite scary how badly wrong the ticketing malarkey is at the moment. I'm lucky that it hasn't happened to me yet but I must admit that at each game I hold my breath as I get to the turnstile ...

I've booked my travel and accommodation for the Villarreal home match yet I'm not looking forwards to organising the ticket to get in... Seasoncard holder not on the Cup Schemes. Best forget that pre-match Pint and have one inside the ground.

The lads and lasses in the blue bibs are all man city fans employed on a temporary basis year on year for match days. I used to do it but decided to revert to my season ticket given the amount of abuse you get from some supporters and the amount of the game you miss.

I can assure you that they are all fed up with the repeated ticketing issues and that they do their utmost to get fans into the ground where they can. They do feed all the issues back to the supervisors who report back to the club.

There are rules governing what they can and can't do and, sad to say, we do have our share of scallies who do try it on every week.

The stewards on the turnstiles are employed by Showtec and don't have authority to let people in.

I am not often right about things but me and my mates have always joked over the last 30 odd years that if City were to become the richest club in the world we would still not have a clue how to sell tickets - hate to say we have been proved right.

I have always found the staff to be excellent at the club but the organisation is a joke - part of Cookies remit I suspect as well!

I know the club has to start getting in shape for financial regulation but I think we should throw money at this now as if customers(supporters to you and me)cant buy what they want easily they wont bother and that must be part of our growth strategy to sell the stadium out.

Did anyone who got shafted against Napoli manage to get themselves back on to the cup schemes? My mate rang the ticket office to tell them what had happened and they wouldn't let him back on the champs league scheme or the carling cup one as they're closed - even though he was on them in the first place. He said they just denied all knowledge that there was a fuck up. As a result he's not bothering going to the game on wednesday now. Well done MCFC

Money spent on issues such as this doesn't have any impact on FFPR so there really is no excuse not to sort this out. It's been going on for long enough now.

Ticketing has always been a bit of an issue but I don't remember it ever being as bad as this. There should be a Points of Blue meeting soon and it should be top of the agenda.
