Just seen it on MOTD, doesnt look that bad at all...

Adebayors on Van Persie last season was far worse.
what just cos he stamped on him with 2 feet, just because it wasn't on his face it makes it ok?

if it had been on his leg he'd be out for a year, Elmander is lucky.

I never said that its ok... but it didnt look as bad as people on here made it out to be. He didnt even catch him with the stoods. Stupid for him to throw his dummy out. But theres been far worse, Ades is just one example... stoods to the face. I didnt say in my post that its ok and he shouldnt be banned... perhaps read my post next time?

i think there's no difference between that and Ade's apart from the bodypart affected, equal intent, in fact Huddlestone's is worse as he went in with 2 feet, not 1 like Ade.

Fouls don't get judged on the injury, just the severity of the tackle, 2 footed stamp over 1 footed stamp, hmmm...I know which is worse.

Love the way he waits a couple of seconds then looks down as if he's surprised his boots have just done something without his say so. ****.

Agreed.

I can see Harry using his if theres a ban I'm not talking to the media card here.

It has to be a ban no matter if the ref seen it or not. Huddlestone could of avoided him if he wanted to but decided to stamped the lad instead. All footballers out there know thats the worst thing to happen to them more so the area were he stamped him no shin pads to ease the impact.

If the shoe was on the other foot and it happen to a Spurs player there would be a lot more about the stamp.

It was not as bad as Adebayor's but he will rightly get a 3 game ban for that when they look at it on Monday.

If he doesn't then we all know that 'Arry is the new ferguson so far as the FA are concerened.
And I haven't read the whole thread-but if De Jong had done that challenge the Southern media would be testing the scaffold right now.

No the challenge was worse, he just did it on a less dangerous body part so got away with it and fortunately didn't injury Elmander.

If Huddlestone had done that on Elmander's face, well I don't want to think about the result it would have been horrendous.
