Decent player who could have won us the FA Cup. In the end he cost us the FA Cup so not the fondest memories of him.

If I understand correctly the.points are:
Tommy was gonna do a Q&A at your supporters club last night and as per these things sell his book like most ex players/managers do when they visit, all pre arranged with the branch.
City invited him to tonight in a seperate unconected way to be a guest and offered to put him up for 2 nights after hearing he was in the cheshire area.
Tommy asked the club if he could promote and sell his book also at tonights game and they refused.
So Tommy cancelled his appearance at your branch.
not sure why City refusing to let him sell his book tonight stops him from attending a pre-booked branch meeting and Q&A, or did the club do something that stopped him turning up for your meeting?
Can understand he was upset with the club but I cannot see what fault they had in him not attending your meet, but he is not at fault either for binning off tonight if he has because he is unhappy with the club.

Maybe you should’ve invited Tommy HUTCHISON. He might have turned up.

We’ve all been there. Start drinking in the afternoon and a few hours later come up with a spurious reason why we can’t attend an evening do because we cba and/or are too pissed to attend.
Why won't we let him flog his book?
Yeah, don't see why they should be bothered by this. Would like to at least hear a good reason for it.
