Very windy here in Warrington. My Recycle bin is down and the gardens opposite have been attacked by crisp packets.

I was just walking my dog round the park and was almost hit by a falling tree blown over by the wind, my poor little cocker spaniels ears are flapping all over the place with this brute force! Really hope it dies down a bit for tonight

No chance of getting there in time. The Viaduct will probably shut any minute due to high winds and that will back up the traffic on the M6 to Stoke and as far up as Chorley, it will then bugger up the M56 from the Airport to somewhere near the Stanlow refinery and as for the M62 which is the busiest and your most likely route that will be down from Speke Airport all the way through to the M60 and the Trafford Centre.

Adding to this there will probably be a couple of Ships going through Latchford Locks putting the Bridges out of action and then we have the famous Warrington traffic light system where the lights turn to green one after the other instead of simultaneously to keep the traffic flowing.
 
Would be amazed if this match goes ahead tonight.

Coming through Sale and never been through wind like it.

Very dangerous out there and people need to stay safe.

Some of the trees are almost bent double and metro now playing up from Alty.
 
bloody hell,just sat in my conservatory in aul on me 2nd can and all my 4 bins along the side of me house have blown over ,if anyones interested brown 1st blue 2nd green 3rd and black 4th.

What are the rag's back line still doing at the side of your house? They need to hot foot it to the Emirates.
 
Heads up that Thelwall Viaduct has been closed in case its part of your journey to the match tonight...
