The irony of your posts, the fact they are so arrogant. You say you don't buy into all this small/big club "bollocks", then you name one of the main reasons City are a big club, our success in the 60's and 70's and then go on to call us a small club?.

The response of someone who know's there arguement is useless and has resulted to petty insults.

Your club is in decline, our's is on the up and whilst you are under American ownership you will continue to fall away. There will be no Liverpool comeback next season. "Fact"

With club up for sale, it's very likely that we will not fall away in the manner you hope. I realise the club is unrealistically valued currently, and can only hope that this issue is resolved in the summer.

Yes I agree, whilst we are under American Ownership we will continue to fall away, and not comeback. However, you know that with new ownership, and reasonable investment we will shoot back up, also no need to say 'Fact', That's a United fan Joke, unless your..... joking

Anyways, I just want to remain positive that our Ownership issues are resolved sooner rather than later, because we will deteriorate into a championship club within a decade. We're not too big, Forest weren't, Leeds weren't, Pompey aren't, Newcastle as well. Like I said before, it is better for football fans that competition and standards remain high. However, does anyone on here not realise the state that United are in? They too must be a club on an imminent decline under the Glazers as well? Or has no-one here picked up on that?

the yanks have shafted both you and the rags. its a crying shame it really is. but would you be complaining if you had our owners instead or is it just the green eyed monster coming out?

dont bother answering it was a rhetorical question

Listen mate, what annoys me about you is not your own fault, it's the fact you have been brainwashed into the medias view of the club. That we have a scatter gun aproach and we just buy buy buy, without actully thinking things through. If you actully look at how the club has been run since we were taken over by the Shiekh you will see with have done everything by the book, done alot for the community in Manchester aswell as pumping millions into world football and as a club, the fans have never been as involved before.

Yes I understand that if you were taken over you would shoot staight back up to the top with the correct owners/investment, but you do realise these "sugar daddys" and "knob Arabs" you detest so much are youre only chance of doing so?. Untill one comes along you will continue to fall away from this seasons top 3 aswell as City if, we do indeed finish in the top 4.

Oh and the small club thing proved you look down at clubs like Manchester City, who have a rich tradition in terms of success in the 30's, 40's, 60's and 70's aswell as a huge fan base and big place in the history of English football, which my freind is arrogance on your part, the very thing you're accusing our club of.

Re: Torres is a done deal

Like I said before, This summer will see Liverpool go one of two ways depending on our ownership issues. Also, Liverpool do not need a sugardaddy to get back to the top, look at our team. Reina, Agger, Johnson, Gerrard, Mascherano, Torres. Building around these players, is all we need to do. £50 million tops. All we need, is someone to wipe our debts away, and build our new stadium, then we can be self-sufficient. Contrary to how you lot think the only way success can be achieved.

So, just for someone to invest the minimum and provide a healthy budget, that's not too unrealistic. Think about it, we have the spine of a world class team, we just need strength in depth and a few quality additions and we're back up. However, that is all dependant on two very greedy Americans.

As for Jealousy? I've seen my team win everything they can. Istanbul was the most amazing night. So if the worst comes to the worst, then fine I've had more than my fair share of enjoyment, and it is not tainted in the way Chelsea's , or yours or Real Madrids etc. etc. So if the club goes down the pan, then i will continue to support and follow all the same, I'm not a glory hunter. However, it is more likely we will be able to bounce back, we're not on the way down just yet, we'll see in 6 months time.

So ALL you need is your debts wiped out and a stadium to be built eh!

And of course you also need to get a buyer willing to actually pay for the club and even at the £500m mark (£300 mil below asking) that takes it to well over a £bn.

Then of course keeping the revenues flowing for 2 ore years possibly 3 whilst the new stadium is built and no CL footie means Liverpool are a steal arent they.

Oh damn we need to find £50m for the team as well.

Bugger it I will buy Everton instead.

We won't have a season as poor as this next season. Also, it's very possible so don't be so aggressive towards the idea of the club's sale. Liverpool FC is actually very profitable on a commercial scale.
