Tottenham Hotspur thread (2015/16)

I'm a big fan of Berahinho, great finisher, but would he start for Spurs? They only play 1 up front.

Apparently they are loaning Lamela to Porto, with the option to buy him for just €7.5m. That would conclude a spectacularly poor piece of business and pretty much see the back of all the players they "invested" the Bale money on. Pretty much only leaving Eriksen to show for the £100m they spent. Well played Levy, yet another blinder from the master of money

I haven't followed Lamela's career that well but I get the feeling he left Roma too young.

I will be interested to see if West Ham's new signing Lanzini can make a better impact because both him and Lamela came through at River Plate at the same time yet it was Lamela who was seen as the better prospect and therefore got the move to Europe a lot earlier than Lanzini did.

That's a steal if Spurs get 7.5 million for Lamela.

Dele looked really good, as did Trippier and Onomah. Hoping to see a lot of Alli and Pritchard next season. At least it's going to be an easy first game

I'd like to see another full season with him, he was playing pretty well the last 3-4 months. The first season was a bit of a write off because of the back injury. He has shown glimpses of brilliance. The good thing about him is that he puts himself about a bit, it's not what we bought him for but he can look after himself but now he has to do more on the ball. I think he likes having a fellow Argie in charge too
