Let's face it, if it wasn't for the tourists on Champions League nights, there,'d be an awful lot of empty seats.

Yeah, it’s nice that. My lad bought one when we watched a game with the NYC Blues earlier this year. They’re a lovely lot, btw. Heartily recommend watching a game with them at Amity Hall if you’re ever in New York. That MCFC t shirt in the style of the NY subway graphics is cool!

Very true.Let's face it, if it wasn't for the tourists on Champions League nights, there,'d be an awful lot of empty seats.
100% correct - though sadly, there's not enough long term sustainability planning with many clubs these days.Very true.
There are a couple of issues with tourists:
1) We can't accept them when they are taking up the slack due to a lack of interest from City fans, and then block them off completely for glamour games. - But we can give regular supporters more opportunity to buy tickets ahead of tourists.
2) We shouldn't price out long term fans in the knowledge tourists will take up the slack. It may make sense in the short-term but undermines the concept of loyalty, without which most clubs would go bust.
