I remember them! But they never seemed to work for me cos I throw like a spaz.Who had at least one of these?
Yep. And how many could be seen hanging from telephone wires the day after.
Knackers
I bought a full Subbuteo set from John Lewis’ store in Piccadilly when I was 13, sadly Mike Summerbee lost his arm due to a mishap but I still have him. The other team were Brazil, and we always won.

I used to cycle regularly from Stockport to the airport and stand on top of the terminal with my CAM in hand.. has no clue really what I was looking for but enjoyed the experience…Not a toy but I always remember it was a big event when this came out once a year

Jesus, look how close the lads face is on that box. Did it come with goggles or a Simon Weston safety manual?I had this very set. Nearly burned the kitchen down View attachment 71066
At least your dad wasn't sick. I once got 2 batteries wrapped up with a note saying "Present not included". :(I didn't have any, we couldn't afford them, even my Action Man deserted on Christmas eve.
Too many smashed wrists so they were banned
Karl Pilkington's been looking for these.
