train tickets for final

Another options for fans is to park up at watford and get the overline down to euston or wembley.

There are trains back from euston to watford all the way up to midnight and beyond and also wembley central to watford...

Last train back to Wigan is even early than ours at half eight.

Those extra trains they put on yesterday were nearly empty I think so that might not encourage Virgin to do the same again. Maybe if they advertised them a bit earlier they might fill up a bit more though. Especially if they can run one later than 2100.

Where's the guy who works in train planning for Virgin?

He might know if it's likely they'll be extra trains or not.

Loads of discussions still ongoing between rail industry / FA and Police. I'll post something as soon as I know anything myself.

Here's the official line:

Not a lot I can add I'm afraid other than the 2100 Euston - Manchester on the Saturday is now fully reserved.

Don't shoot the messenger !!!!

Thanks for the info mate.

I know you can't answer this for certain but say it went to ET and the police on the day asked Virgin if there's any chance to hold that last train maybe just 10/15 minutes to get as many people back home as possible, is it feasible they might do this or is it strictly 2100 and it's gone?

Blues travelling back on Sunday will have to contend with Rags making their way to the home game v Swansea at 5pm so trains will be heaving.

Good call that. Their game kicks off at 4pm, so a train after 2pm will do me. Big stinking hangover and a load of cockney rags is not for me.

If it goes to extra time and pens it will need to be held back until about 10pm given the tube cues and presentation etc.

Pleased with mine. £36

Open return from Piccadilly for the full weekend and full use of the underground

You sure about that mate? It sounds a bit like the Saturday day return thing they do with a travel card? It ain't an open return though. Was it £38.25?
