ste.sully said:What a pointless system. Why the hell can't they put a few specials on the line just after the match and just before the match instead of sticking to the 6 minute service?DD said:The actual wait time between the end of the game and getting on the tram was 30 minutes with only 3 trams turning up in that time. I tried it as an experiment as I was in no rush to get back but the upshot is that I calculated I could have walked it back to Piccadilly and been there ten minutes earlier. Many will think the same and, as such, I would expect the queues to be a bit smaller next time around.

You do realise that the £3 event ticket price will take you anywhere on the system.

According to another forum, they had a points failure which caused a 5 minute delay after the game. Everywhere was clear 30 minutes after the final whistle
It's a fiver in a taxi or a twenty minute walk. £3 on the Met is cheap enough and quick enough to use every time, for me.ballinio said:I had a pint in city square then got the tram to town, one way £3.00 fucking disgrace. wont be usung it again.Goater666 said:CITYROBBO said:How much is it from the ground to picaddily return please ??

it was pretty packed bainy, no crowd at the metro 45 mins after the end of the game though. Think the zig zagging barriers are way too much really annoying and not needed at all.bainy said:ballinio said:I had a pint in city square then got the tram to town, one way £3.00 fucking disgrace. wont be usung it again.Goater666 said:£2.90
Thinking of doing this on sunday - was city square packed or was it easy enough to get a pint?
