Savannah, Georgia. Beautiful town and listen to one of the local women say "Savannah, Georgia." Probably the finest seduction in the world.Had a brainwave and thinking of doing a trip over the pond in March, just do cheap accom like hostels and motels, good way of meeting people and flight prices looking loads better than summer.
Too many places I'd like to visit. Have brainstormed flights in and out of Miami and internal flights to Texas, toying with the idea of 2-3 nights in each of the big cities in Texas, with a few days either side in Miami. Other trips could be a week or so in Miami, Boston, or up to Canada in either Toronto or Vancouver. Anyone done similar short trips over the pond and/or any city recommendations?
Couldn't agree more, Charleston SC is another great Southern colonial coastal town right up the road.Savannah, Georgia. Beautiful town and listen to one of the local women say "Savannah, Georgia." Probably the finest seduction in the world.

I think it depends where you go, Cities are scary with all the knife crime, drugs etc. But Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Cotswold's, York, Chester would be all good but bloody expensive.Going back to England makes me very nervous, not sure if I’ll do it again
La BBQ is incredible! Just as good as Franklin's, without the ridiculous waits.Austin is a good town for a good night out, but Houston is a concrete wasteland, unless white table cloth steaks are your gig!
I doubt he’s traveling the States for BBQ, but if he’s in Austin, he’d be remiss if he didn’t look into La Barbeque on Cesar Chavez Blvd. Could be the best meat I have ever eaten anywhere. The brisket was of another world.
As for Dallas, Fort Worth is far nicer and more interesting…for about 3 minutes!
