Whilst fucked up the picture that has the two comparisons is also a bit skewed.

Marissa Alexander

Went to the home she had not stayed in for two months, spent the night there and waited for her husband to return, He did the next morning with their two sons, She then gave him her phone with a picture of "their" newborn child on it and went to the bathroom. He then saw texts on her phone from her ex-husband which could suggest that the newborn was not his. They had an argument where he told his boys to "get your things ready, we are leaving" she then went back in to the garage got a gun and then proceeded to go back in and whilst the husband and two sons were kneeling in front of her with her husband "pleading with her not to shoot" shot at him narrowly missing his head.

She could have left the house if she felt threatened through the front door, back door or even the master bedroom window but she chose to go into the garage, then come back out and not leave but shoot at her husband.

If there is to be a comparison at least make it fair and have both in prison.

Was she found guilty by a jury?

So pretty much the same case actually.

Zimmerman didn't need to get out of his car.

Zimmerman didn't need to bring his gun.

Zimmerman didn't need to approach the kid. (Going against police advice).

Zimmerman didn't need to shoot the kid.

0 years and 20 years.

Zimmerman's darker than the black women presenter & the guy being interviewed tearing into white people, they're struggling but still going with white v black.
This guy & others in Florida police their own areas, add guns & this is going to happen.
No gun no shooting, change the gun laws.

She made one huge mistake, the fuckers lived. If they hadn't lived they wouldn't have been able to testify. Rookie's error, she'll know better next time.

not sure shooting the kids would have done her much good, shooting him if they were alone might have done though

Nah, she could have gotten away with that. The kids have guns in America. Kids as young as five have shot and killed people in America.

So, basically, leave no-one alive. They're all a threat in the US of A, even children, and we have to defend ourselves.

Scary how hard people will go to defend this.

You need to differentiate between defending someones actions and what can be proved in a court of law, maybe try reading what people are actually saying rather than acting the liberal dickhead all the time might help

Not only in England but pretty much any other country in the world he would be locked up.

Its funny how they can send a black women for shootin into the wall to scare off her abusive husband 20 years but let this scumbag off for murder. I feel sick.

USA is such a fucked up country on so many levels.
You could understand if Marissa Alexander got that sentence in a state with very strict gun control or something, but this also happened in Florida. What the actual fuck. She gets twenty years even though nobody got hurt, Zimmerman is a free man. What a ridiculous place Florida is. It's the home of my very favourite band, and I'd consider a visit to Gainesville almost like a pilgrimage, but I'm never ever going to Florida.

How water music ?

Hot Water Music, what a band.
