If every single person wants to stand in 109 then they should stand. If one person wants to sit, then you have to sit.

Anyone standing at the very front you cannot say you were hard done to.

my frustration is that the wanker stewards were fronting out yonger lads - my lad was approached and told we know your name and where you live - they are utter wankers

another steward was poining at his blue City stewards badge and tellin him he could do anything he wanted or similar

if people want things to change then boycott food and drinks in the 109 areas and generate a petition or something - it wont happen because fans in genenral give a shit about anything that does not impact themselves

For those of you who dont know, i work as a security supervisor for a large security company. Last August, while at work, i was verbally abused for 15 minutes by a male who had been unsuccessful in an interview i conducted for a position with the comnpany i worked for. The male came to my place of work and i was subjected to being called a wanker, ****, prick, fucking this, fucking that for the full duration.

Everyone has a breaking point, and after 15 minutes i had had enough of the abuse and grabbed the male by the wrist because i wanted the police to deal with him for all the verbal abuse i had been subjected to. The male pulled away and took off out of the management suite at my work. This was all witnessed by a colleague and was also on CCTV.

About an hour later i was arrested, spent 4 hrs in a cell, was charged with assault, and when it went to court was fined £200. The male who verbally abused me wasn't charged with anything, not even a public order offence. The other guys record spoke volumes. Thanks to the help of someone on here, this was sorted out.

The point to my story and experience is to show, by the law, as i have first hand experience of it, the showsec steward in this video has comitted an assault by grabbing this elderly male by the wrist. Security/Stewards have no right to arrest someone for a public order offence and that is what this man has comitted. The Showsec steward should be charged with assualt, AND WITH PETER FLETCHER BEING AN EX GMP SUPERINTENDENT, MR FLETCHER SHOULD KNOW THIS TOO, SO WE AS FANS WILL BE EXPECTING EXPECT MR PETER FLETCHER OF MCFC, TO BACK THE FAN TO THE HILT AND LOOK TO SUPPORT THE ELDERLY FAN IN PROCEEDING WITH CHARGES ON THE SHOWSEC STEWERD.

This sort of heavy handed bullying makes me sick to my stomach.I could only see an incident happening from the south stand,watching it close up makes my blood boil and ashamed at the way security is being handled at MY club.And it is OUR club,we have been there for years,before the money.

Before it they were glad of our support and were more likely to be throwing us IN rather than out!

Time for a pre match protest outside the ground?

I think you're seriously misinterpreting this regulation:

This means if you fail to respond to their instruction you can be ejected... but only be a police officer.

Showsec, you're fucked.

No matter what rules MCFC put up, it is against the law for a steward or security guard/officer to conduct a search without the permission of the person being searched or to detain someone for a public order offence or a breach of the peace.

He is. He was revived at the scene, taken to First Aid, and then escorted out of the ground at half time surrounded by stewards and police with quite a lot in the concourse chanting 'shame' at the GMP and Showsec. Me Da asked him whether he was alright and he said he was.

That guy posed a huge risk/threat to others didn't he? 60 odd years old, with a heart condition, asking to be left alone sat in his seat.

Shame Fletcher, shame on you and the people you control. This has been brewing for a LONG time, and you allowed your contracted staff to develop the situation to the end result today. Think you will need to come down from your control room and sit there for a game, see for yourself how the block is run with your own eyes apart from through a monitor screen. Imagine that was your dad stood on the old Kippax whilst you eat your gobstopper as you said in the previous letter, how would you feel? Mackem, this has all bean done before pal. I used to sit in 118 when the stadium first opened. After 1 season these wankers were at it over there. I was assaulted by a police officer, another fan was arrested taken to a police station where his programme was spat on by rag coppers, and another male recieved a borken arm cos these showsec lot didn't know how far his arm up his back is classed as restraining.
Its been going on for a while, thats why i moved from 118 to 110. They lay one hand on me and i'll be reacting in self defence.

Might be worth getting in contact with showsec head office and let them know the shit is about to hit the fan. There is 1 or 2 faces on that video and I would be suprised if they still have jobs soon

No point. My dad tried this and was in contact with this guy for about 2 weeks. My dad even offered to meet the guy and discuss the incidents of concern. After a couple of weeks with no response from this head, my dad fired off an email, quite sternly written and never actually heard back from him, although the nuisance phone calls that started very soon afterwards meant my dad had to change phone numbers.

Coincidence? Maybe, but i dont believe it.
