Tsunami Hits Japan After 8.8 Earthquake. part 2.

Re: Tsunami Hits Japan After 8.8 Earthquake

The Great Kanto quake in 1923 killed 200,000 people there. It's no surprise then that after that, in the late nineties, Bill Mcguire from UCL labelled Tokyo 'the city waiting to die'. How very prescient he may be.

Some of the news footage is awful. It looks like the set from Godzilla. Hope everyone's okay.

There's something extremely foreboding about that.

unbelievable, as a man who's experienced something like 8.9 before, I tell you now, I could barely walk afterwards. Shocking.

Urgh, that picture is sickening. Good luck to everyone out there, my thoughts are with you there.

My thoughts are with those caught up in this however I feel I need to mention it. At first I didn't believe it, still don't to be honest, although it is interesting. Reported on the 9th March.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1364124/Lunar-perigee-Supermoon-cause-weather-chaos-Earth-week.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ ... -week.html</a>
The moon hasn't much to do with it. It's to do with tectonic movement, which is all natural. The moon interferes with tides. It might have had a slight effect on how much water surfaces, but the fact the earthquake occurred and the moon's position is close is coincidence.

Re: Tsunami Hits Japan After 8.8 Earthquake

Some professor said about the moons effects earlier on Sky. Whirlpools were being created and its something to do with the moon being in a superphase or something. Weird stuff that.
As for that picture a few posts above. You can't really comprehend that happening to your manor whatsoever. As I sit here now typing away, heating on, beer in hand and chilled as fuck, I can't imagine my house, my street and everything around it destroyed in seconds like in that picture. Very, very sad.

Tell her not to worry too much mate, apparently all the mobile networks are down. I'm sure it will just be something like that. Hope he's ok.
