A lot of the grief isnt about having pay / bens taken off them its all about increasing them

They were happy to sign up on those contracts but as soon as someone pipes up " We could get more" they are all at it

*Im not for or against unions BTW - I dont really care either way

There is nothing without the private sector. Nothing is created in the public sector. It relies on the private sector for it's existence.

Any business will use any means to reduce costs. If jobs are exported it is sad
but globalisation has created this; we can't go back to 1850.

Hedge funds are part of the financial sector's profits. Profits are taxed. Tax pays the public sector's wages.

Run them through with a sabre;-fine; David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Bob Crowe, Dianne Abbott etc know jack shit about how money is made. However , if we follow this pattern we could all bask in an economic powerhouse like Cuba

Giving the private sector a free reign has proved disasterous time and time again.
Supporting such a system shows a lack of rational though.

Yip, this country is so fucked up that despite the milk snatcher and those that have followed her economic policies in subsequnt governments, there are still members who want to live in a real society, looking after their neighbours, their friends and their family, and not just care about "loadsadosh"
The de-regulation of the financial markets has led the country and the western world into the greatest financial meltdown most of us can remember.
Blame those that are to blame, (the bankers)
Make those responsible pay the price (the bankers)
Defend Public Services, defend Public Jobs.

If you want to trace this all the way to the very begining its all the fault of the left wing liberals do gooders in the US. Pushing for reforms and pushing an agenda so the poor of America could get mortgages and buy there homes (Toxic assets). The Bankers espeacially the US one are complete bastards and hold the lion shares of the blame. Its the left wing do gooders in the US though that got the ball rolling.

Looks like we need a proper system like the old East Germany and Albania then.
Then we could all look forward to our new Trabant after a 15 year waiting list, but at least we'll be thinking rationally. Wealth is not happiness? Could'nt agree more, you can't beat a good dose of poverty, it would solve the obesity epidemic overnight.
