Agreed. Series 3 of Lupin is very good. You do have to suspend belief a little but it's done with such style and the things Assane manages to pull off are just about credible. Omar Sy should get a lot of credit because he's basically putting in multiple performances every episode.the 3rd season of Lupin is as good as what's come before. Finished it tonight and hope there's more to come.
Just not really into it at the minute and technically it should be right up my street, definitely going to finish the season though then see where Im at with itOne of the best things ever to be aired on T.V mate.
He would have been caught through the very system that was brought in because of the Ripper case. The HOLMES computer system that replaced the index cards and cross filing system that got overwhelmed with the scale of it. There was ample chance to identify Sutcliffe as he was in the system numerous times but the scale of it meant he went undetected. Plus the stubborn attitudes and the blind allegiance to OldfieldITVs the Long Shadow about the victims of Peter Sutcliffe was surprisingly well made and handled the difficulty of catching suspects through mounds of paperwork, limited contact with nearby forces and the male chauvinistic pigs the detectives were in that era.
The show centered on the devastation the ripper caused all the victims families without him appearing for the majority of the series.
If this happened in 2023 he would have been caught in days with todays techniques used.
They were that shoddy that one victim wasn't even Sutcliffes and be duped by the barmpot from Sunderland just smacks of absolute incompetence and the polices normal method of trying to pin a crime on anyone available. He would have been caught through the very system that was brought in because of the Ripper case. Gave up after about 5/6 series as every series was just rinse and repeat and got so annoying. Can’t believe they strung it out for 10/11 series. The Blacklist finished last night, very sad ending.
I'm fine, shame your not.Ok mate
