We've all been saying the same thing since about December 2012. We addressed it to a certain extent by bringing in Fernandinho in Summer 2013 and Gundogan but what have we done other than that and about left back? I find it utterly bizarre!

Is it possible the owners have told Txiki they won't spend the kind of outrageous sums it takes these days to sign a true difference maker? I mean do you see us paying 100M for a player like Pogba?

It seems clear that Txiki, Pep, etc. have known our weaknesses from the start. I just wonder if their hands are tied by ownership who no longer want to pay over the odds for the best of the best.
