Txiki Begiristain

It's been terrible. Nolito is not a top player, many are making him out to be simply because he's signed for us but he's not. Gundogan is world class but he misses quite a lot of games. Stones is not even a good defender yet, he has the potential but at the moment he's average. It's baffling the business we've done considering we just signed the best manager in the world. weve got loads of average footballers in our squad it'll take Pep at least a season to get it right.

yeah as it stands I see this coming season as a transitional one rather than the WOW one we expected.

If this is to be a.transitional season then there is only one person to blame. Can't think Pep will be too impressed with his great friend's efforts.

If you'd heard Ballague on shoutshite yesterday, Guardiola has been given everything he's asked for. He is not the sort of manager who would advocate buying players who he cannot mould into his style. Or paying a ridiculously high figure.
Yes he wants to win now, but not at the expense of his principals.
Apparently Nolito was key because he knows the manager's style. No-one else at the club does. But it will deliver in the long term and not be a one year fix.

No way is this a transitional season. When you're at the top of the tree like we are you don't accept transition or consolidation. So, whilst certain fans may be losing their shit with a few days to go before the season starts, (largely down to a friendly played with a makeshift defence) there will be no excuses and we won't need any.

Nolito is a player who has an excellent goal and assist record for his club and just played for the most successful international team of modern times in a major tournament.

Calm down dears.

Txiki you should be ashamed of yourself, continuing to spend all this money on young and up and coming stars of tomorrow.Hang your head in shame.
Peoples' complaints have been about left back and strength in depth in centre mid for the style Guardiola wants us to play.

Been throughly impressed with our transfer dealings this window and I think that reflects on the relationship between Txiki Begiristain, Ferran Soriano and Pep.... they seem to communicate between each other well and trust in each others level of understanding of finances, player ability and marketing value.

Complaints should have only been forthcoming after 1st September NOT with more than three weeks left until the deadline.
These complaints haven't been this window they've been since about Christmas 2012.

Not that they're sustained complaints that they're 100% not happy. Just areas they see they think Txiki is missing.

People take constructive criticisms far too seriously on this website. Let people have their say, it doesn't mean people aren't happy overall.
