I started this thread in March and have been consistent for a couple of years with criticism for Txiki, it's not knee jerk. We are one of the top 10 clubs in world football, the bar is high. He hasn't delivered so why is it wrong to debate it?

He hasnt delivered? Says who? Whether we like it or not thats a question for Mansour and Khaldoon and given he is still in the job id wager they dont agree with you.

They came in with a 10 year plan at the start of the investment and we are what, 8 years into that now and they have turned a near bankrupt club into one of the richest sporting clubs in the world and they have league titles, FA cup and league cups to show for it as well as CL football culminating in a semi final to date. They also have finally the man they have wanted, will continue to back him and provide him with what he wants to continue that success and hopefully for us all, take it to the next level.

You or a few others wanting Txiki sacked is based on nothing imo and isnt going to happen anytime soon, it just isnt and for the reasons ive stated above.

I agree it ain't gonna happen anytime soon but it still open for debate, that's why we invest time on here.

Needs help badly and urgently..If compitent enough,the upper echelon,that is,Khaldoon & Mansour must have a sit regarding his position & performance this far..Another role of a technical director(One to oversee transfer negotiations purely) should be created,Sevilla's Monchi/Atleti's Berta/Bayern's Reschke should be at the top of that list,whilst Txixi remains the sporting director..If he doesn't accept the role change he can sod off to Spain.

If I remember correctly I said you sound like a Rag not you were one.However, forgive me but I hadn`t realised that Txiki was also picking the team nowadays. The imbalance comes from our Manager believing in his own methods and deciding which players he would like.We do have ageing players but I assume that some were not moved on due to us not finding suitable replacements.
We have been playing a new system for 4 months, of which two months were covered in glory with ten straight wins.Notice you didn`t come back on the forum shouting that you were wrong.And now you`re giving it plenty because ... ? Oh yes.
Plenty of Blue Mooners claimed (including myself) that it may take longer than one season to change, something which Klopp has now done remarkably well.Perhaps as fans we need to do the same.However we have too many impatient fans ... you being one of them.

Our imbalance comes from the manager?

Does it? He played 3at the back as we had 1available centre half.
He started Zabaleta in midfield because Fernando simply can't do the job he's required to do.
We had 3 full backs in their 30's playing.
We had De Bruyne playing left wing back.

2 £40 million + right wingers on the bench.

We've had to ship out decent and useful players and keep dross as our squad was over stocked.
I was worried in the summer that we'd be left with situations like yesterday. I was right.

I've maintained for sometime that our midfield is way below the required standard. One suspension and we're watching poor old Zabaleta try fill in.

He buys in good faith so you can't really hammer him for that,the managers decide who they want i presume anyways

But he has to take his part in changing from a strong powerful team to what we have now,4 good strikers to one and nacho,this league needs strong defenders who defend first and ball play 2nd,a compromise is needed,also the FB situation should have been addressed in the summer

Now we've managed to get rid of all that physicality, even the keeper is tiny(for a keeper) and our most physical player is probably Dinho who is about 8 stone when wet. So now we are easy to bully/beat us to the first and second balls which leads to conceding soft goals and relying on intricate passing to get goals.. There's no plan B

This guys transfers etc mean he must not have a clue about this league, you're not in K̶a̶n̶s̶a̶s̶ Spain anymore you tit.

I make that 2 great signings from 30, 3 if you count Pep. Mangala, Bony and Fernando stand out as shockers, the rest average and potential.

Can't remember all the players who have left but Dzeko, Tevez. Lescott and Barry stand out.

Not one has fulfilled potential yet so try again. Sterling and Sane cost nearly 90m, I'd expect a significant return on that investment.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool just of the top of my head.
