Maybe but from the June to Jan we invested 80m on Fernando, Mangala and Bony and missed out on Sanchez for 32m. Plenty of cash there if spent correctly, so fuck all to do with FFP.

In hindsight but at the time we needed a defender not sanchezGo for a cheaper defender. The likes of Sanchez don't become available too often. It was a really bad choice.
