we had to chance and the money to strengthen the squad after a PL title and CL final and we did not do that. and we fail to finish the chances vs Liverpool title decider, let them alive, fail to convert the chances vs Real at home or even after 1-0 up away, all this costing another CL exit.

Perhaps the people who have brought our club to the level , it is now at, would consider a "fuck up" to be the complete opposite of what you claim a "fuck up" is, overall probably a good thing.

Who are you getting rid of to make room for 6 new players ? Pepe doesnt like a big squad remember. And then there is FFP.

Personally I think we need a No 9 with Alverez already bought.

And 3 squad players...gundog ,fern , sterling , mendy , mahrez , zinchenko to go maybe.

Disagree on Sterling and Mahrez, both high class proven players, yes they are on big wages but both would be available for low transfer fees.

Sterling to Barca for dejong? and if we do let Mahrez leave and I don't think we will, PSG would snap him up in an instant.

The answer seems to be that Kane was the managers preference to replace Aguero. Bernardo wanted out and Grealish came in. We couldn't strike a deal for Kane or Bernardo to leave. Its not that difficult.
We should be pretty happy with the outcome. We didn't lose Bernardo who's had an outstanding season and we didn't pay £150 million for Kane.
