And? He's got bosses, he's got a manager who is clearly free to get involved. Do you think he has a completely free reign to do as he pleases?
Why would that be specifically his fault? He doesn't coach the players, pick the team or choose the tactics. He signs players and he hires staff, but everything he does is at a remove from what happens on the pitch, he can only trust that they'll try and do their jobs properly. Whether he's done a good job or a bad job, there's still people closer to the action who are in a position to fuck it up. I think we've all seen plenty of that in the last couple of years.
