Imo we should have a squad lot closer to what Guardiola really needs than what we have if we are actually clever in the market in terms how much we spent. All this without building a squad against Pellegrini.

Otamendi not good on the ball? Do you watch City? His technical ability is at the same level with Kompany.
 
Bang average squad. It's a good job pep is coming or else he'd be off I reckon. Can't afford any fuck ups this summer, this squad needs some serious quality added to it.

Not good enough. Then you've got mangala, otamendi, Delph, sterling and navas who are borderline average. Maybe pep can improve them, there's a fair bit of cash been spent on them. My main worry is vinnie, don't know how much longer we can put up with his injuries.

We need to spend some serious money again this summer, getting sick of seeing us wasting it away, hopefully that changes.

It does make you wonder how long ago we knew we had Pep because, as you say, there's some untypical Pep players there. Hopefully, Pep and Txiki will have a good working relationship, Txiki making suggestions and Pep making decisions.
 
His saving grace is that he's persuaded Pep to come.

The majority of players he's brought in are woeful and we're still relying mainly on players brought in under Cook.
 
I'm absolutely amazed people rate this guy.

Hundreds of millions of pounds wasted constructing an ageing, unbalanced, unfit and injury prone squad with a shocking attitude.

Backing a manager that has nothing about him and has been allowed to coast out a final year whilst we have already announced his successor.

The decline of this team is not only staggering but unforgivable... And this clown is responsible for it.

Bollocks. The idea it's the fault of any one person is idiotic, they aren't making these decisions based on the whim of one director.
