Exactly. A man sacked by league 2 Northampton is overseeing top class players like Foden..Just how did this clown get the job? Foden career is being held back having to play with others who are not on his level, and a manager who is from the 1970s ,tactically .

The best of Young England have a manager who couldn't make his mind up for 7 mins after a red card ..which player to sub off as he re organised his team....as soon as the decision went to Var .after the yellow card... the manager should hv known it was gonna be a red card..and still he couldn't think on his feet and ponder a reshuffle. ..

I heard from someone he kept shouting from the touchline "play it out from the back"
Really? That sort of thing is normally coached into the players during training; if they can't do it then ,don't insist they do it during the match.
This mans appointment is a disgrace.
The fa should hang their heads in shame.
 
Watching those German lads, and comparing them to how Pep Boothroyd has our lot playing....

Does anybody know who the assistant manager is,and what his credentials for the job are..?

Sam Ellis ?

The worst thing about that U21 game was, that Phil Neville has the women's team better organised (or at least they were before their legs went) & he's not very good.

That's a very good point.
But worryingly. ..it's also made me think Mr nev might be in line for a future manager of the Mens team....without any club management experience. Just like his brother ..eating out on his utd links.
Saying that...I really hope Rio takes this proposed director of football role at utd....nothing can go wrong....nothing can go wrong...lol
