Tonight was u21; at this age it's crucial for players to stake a claim for a senior career here.
and yet the lads you are decrying are 18 or less

keep up the good work

So three years of them getting fucked by their rivals but playing futile possession football is going to prepare them for the first team?
your slip is showing

i'm sure these young lads made it to the quarter finals of the UEFA Youth League, FA Youth final and won the International Cup

But yes, of course, you're right they're being fucked on a regular basis.
But if you think yoonited are our rivals then you are away with the fairies

No, but I do want our kids to play football the right way. At that age winning isn't everything. If it was we'd play goofball like the rags.

We could put a side out which would nullify that Utd team, & perhaps nick a 1-0, if that's all we were interested in doing.

So we lost by choice?
Elite Development Squad. There is a clue in the name.

No we didn't. We play a certain way, so they will improve and will be ready to come straight into the first team and know exactly what's expected of them.

Parents with little kids having to leave a youth game with ten minutes to go. The latest reminder of just how vile that club is.

I wasn't at the game so I can only guess what happened from previous experiences.

I've said it before and I'll say it again there are some from within that club that condone or even encourage this behaviour.

Disgraceful behaviour from both sets of fans tonight.
I don't like this Munich chanting shit...it ain't clever, it ain't funny, just stop it. Frank swift, do your research.

But the large amount of teenage rags running wild was comical, with no police presence gangs of kids doing their best Danny dyer impressions trying to get into the city end.
I couldn't stop laughing.

Was a great atmosphere though. Every time they scored we had to sing/celebrate for those rag miserable bastards.

Let's cut out the Munich shit though people. It ain't good, and I'm saying that as someone who sings at every match myself

About 30 united fans got over the segregation and attacked the city fans- first target? An old man sat peacefully watching the match. Saw one young lad get his head stamped on,know that's been reported on twitter. Steward with a nasty gash on his head and a blue knocked out outside. Considering it was about 15000 to 800, I can promise you any reports that City fans were the aggravators or indeed singing Munich are completely fabricated.

The one Munich song I heard was roundly booed and shushed- Ryan Giggs is Illegitimate was sung once. Other than that I can't say I heard any Munich chanting.

Kalechi looks on Sturridge's level to me.

dont agree with that, i dont think anyone of them are at the same level or micheal johnsons level. They are good, but i think we had a better quality players in those two especially

Get your blue tinted specs off for a minute.
I'm a SC holder at city, I have no fucking reason to lie... Right at the back a number of lads sang Munich chants regularly.

As I stated, the Rags were the main aggravators, breaking barriers, being confrontational but still their behaviour does not justify us singing that shit.

Good team performance overall though.
Let's ignore the actual result and focus on team play, possession, and how well the kids are developing :)

U21's tonight.

How did they let all this happen tonight inside and out :-/

Just a hunch but think there will be some extra stewarding training on the horizon soon for them lot.
