There isn't any denial of guilt either is there, that's my point. Usually, a statement might read City refute these allegations and do not accept UEFA's findings etc.etc. but it doesn't and I find that interesting.

Obviously its position is that the club has done no wrong, hence the appeal.
It is a fairly clear denial of guilt, unless you are being deliberately obtuse.

Or it's position being how it feels about the process? and the punishment being too harsh, hence the appeal. I'm sure we will find out more in the coming weeks and months.
