Nothing taken personal at all mate. As I said, for me it’s City if somebody asks who I support, if they then have the gall to say which one, I say Manchester City.
My comment was in response to somebody saying no blue refers to us as Man City, which as you know is bollocks, many do, plus much of the stock in the store bears the moniker’Man City’... even the 125 year anniversary t-shirt. Anyway, wrong thread I reckon.
Fair enough, but I honestly haven't met one single blue who refers to the club as Man City and my first game was in the early 60's. My irritation was at people continually saying 'Man City' on broadcast media (Micah Richards among many more) in the space of seconds when everyone is aware of who he is specifically referring, the club can sell and print whatever it wants on its merchandise as far as I'm concerned. As you say, this is the wrong thread and we face much more important issues.

If I could have been in attendance at any hearing in history, this would be up there, but it still would lag behind the trial of Peter Sutcliffe, the Nuremberg trials and that Jaffa Cake VAT tribunal (and possibly marginally ahead of the latter tbf)

Would have been utterly absorbing to be there, even remotely.

Love watching massive brains clashing. Those guys are on another planet.

Plus the fact that it’s about City, something that’s been central to my life for the last 44 years.

Would have been mint.
If the deciding factor is indeed that it starts soft, then goes hard... I propose then, that there can be no other sane conclusion than the fact that it is indeed, a cake.
Barm. Cake.

I popped onto RAWK to check the degree of their obsession with CITY was operating at

I was surprised an disappointed to read this:

"At the end of the 3-day hearing, CAS confirms 2 of the 3 judges also sat on the first Man City appeal that dismissed attempts to throw out UEFA's case on procedural grounds."

That appeal just didn’t meet CAS grounds for a case so it was inadmissible. They didn’t dismiss it on any substantial grounds other than no sanctions had yet been issued. That’s not a big concern.

“CAS ruled that City were not entitled to appeal at this stage because an arbitration case can be taken to Cas only against an actual disciplinary or final decision of a sports governing body. As, by definition, the case has yet to be heard by the adjudicatory chamber, City have not suffered any findings or sanctions to appeal against. They can argue at their adjudicatory chamber hearing that the process has been unfair.”

if we do get done over and the ban stays then we must take liverpool and united and the rest of the so called elite with us

we should have never settled out of court when we found out liverpool was hacking our accounts why on earth settle for a small fee ?? the punishment for breaking rules like that should be relegation and big £millons in fines. liverpool must have been laughing all the way to bank knowing they did us over and walked away free of any wrong doing

the dirt is there and we are talking top table stuff that would blow the game out of the water ? its elite teams who must be shitting themselves after what pep said about Barcelona owners to watch what your saying ? we have the 3 that worked at barcelona so they must know what goes on there

Thanks - that helps - and it should have been obvious to me

Just the typical mindset of a long-standing CITY fan I guess - expecting bad news and the world to be biased and fixed against us

And with a very straight forward ruling like that, let's hope that the UEFA ban and fine is overturned by CAS purely on the fact that we have already been punished and settlement made
