Isn’t trouble at 1pm in Salford a daily expectation?Just had a security briefing at work. Expecting trouble in the Salford area at 1pm and in Oldham this evening.
Strong rumours of trouble in Glodwick yesterday (to the point where they sent the staff of the NHS building we manage home) didn't materialise.
Seems a strange area to be targeted by the knuckle draggers.
I regularly participate in the Parkrun at Peel Park, and walking to and from there, it mainly seems to be student accommodation around those parts.
Chief Exec of Salford CC has emailed staff regarding a rumour of a protest at Pendleton this afternoon. Police have reassured him that a ‘robust plan’ is in place if need be. Police will be highly visible.

You'd be amazed at how often especially on a Friday afternoon the last appointment would be a FTA back in the day.
