UK government to block Scottish gender bill - first time a devolved government has been blocked from passing a law.

Sadly my cross-dressing days are over.

I was asking about the items you have worn by others.

In the instance of this particular individual being able to play a game with laws designed to protect vulnerable people it's the lawmakers and politicians who have fucked it up again, this person should have been nowhere near a womans prison.

IMHO people should be able to call themselves what they want, not a big fan of calling women CIS women when they are just women .

When the law is an ass, arseholes will exploit it.

I do think some of the current chosen subjects for legislation (voting age and trans thing) have been raised with a certain amount of tactical mischief in mind.

You could argue it both ways with that. I watched the Scottish secretary’s statement in the house and the questions after and there wasn’t any valid response as to why some it wasn’t raised a lot sooner in the bills passage.

It suits both governments from their own aspirations perspective.

Maybe, but it seems to me that the SNP are more bothered with keeping the indy thing on the boil than solving their countries problems. I doubt the voting age/trans issue are the biggest problems folk in Scotland are facing. Anytime they are pushed on actual issues of governance they just blame the cunts down south and get back to their monotonous soap box.

Don’t overly disagree with that but this one has been in the manifesto for a while. That it’s got to the stage it has done now and probably ending up in court is due to both sides probably wanting that to happen
