I don't buy this UKIP = BNP in nice suit bollox.

Though god knows there is a gap in the market for a party that better reflects public opinion rather than simply ignoring it. I haven't voted for them before apart from in Euro elections but if there was a real chance to break up the current boring tory/labour self-serving stalemate then I'd vote for anybody that offered that opportunity.
Mediocre suits then.

I like immigrants.

We should try and attract more, invest a reasonable sum of money in science and technology rather than the current meagre budget and start attracting more and more educated and skilled foreigners, it'll hugely benefit the country and economy.

Public science budget is 4.6 billion, double it and we'd only just eclipse what we spend on foreign aid.

I'd times it by 5 or 10. We should develop economically viable nuclear fusion (key), go to Mars and become self-sustainable for food. Maybe colonise the moon as well.

Having sisters/girlfriends even mothers regularly being spat at and called 'white whores', and told 'you know you want it' not just at night, but in broad daylight in the town centre.

Being told in parks (Alexander and Werneth) to 'get the fuck out, you white c*nts aren't welcome here' .....agian regularly.

It kind of gives you a different perspective on our 'multicultured' society....

I await the excuses from the liberals.....but sorry, there can't be any.

NB, I am in a mix race marriage, so forget the 'racist' tag being thrown...

In fairness there will be plenty of asians who get dogs abuse from white people and because of this have a dislike for white people, this how racism breeds, if an asian called me all the names under the sun, i would just think he was a dick, i wouldnt blame the next asian guy i came across

But, first off, it's not just abuse, it's threats of violence.....just for being white/black and in 'the wrong place'.

Reverse it, and it sounds like Britain in the 70's......it was rightly so not tolerated by the majority, and eradicated 'mostly'.....I don't see any attempts to do so now by either government or the media to do the same in these instances.....you?

And as such, you will see many people in these areas and situation, right or wrongly looking at the UKIP and BNP even for 'a solution'

I have just looked at Oldham election results for the last two general elections and support for UKIP and the BNP combined is around 10%

At the recent council elections they didnt even bother fielding candidates in most wards and that says to me the support has dwindled.

Of course we probably all have stories we can tell abour racism or as Skashion wisely pointed out Knobheadedness , but it doesnt mean your personal experiences are widely held beliefs.

I'd vote for you. People misunderstand the cultural and economic significance of science.

This shit changes our world and makes us richer and healthier. It infuriates me that barely anybody else can see this. Here's a video exploring a similar theme. A very important video that is America-centric but applies to us all and I hope that you might take a few minutes out of your day to watch. It's important, trust me.

This video talks more about cultural significance rather than an overall view:

No party reflects public opinion as public opinion is so disparate. The main parties make a point of trying to create a consensus of opinion and even in that there will be dissenting voices.

UKIP are a narrow party created around a single issue. It has been easier for them to sound like a single voice as the adherents to there cause are of like mind. But if there popularity grows they will find voices that dissent on other parts of there in my opinion rather feeble ideals.

All three of the major political parties are broad churches. I am a Labour party member but i am as far removed from a lot of labour ideals as some of the far right nutjobs we have on here.

UKIP are a niche party, they will damage the torys just as the SDP damaged Labour in the 80's. I should be encouraging the nutjobs on here to vote UKIP as it will help Labour win, but i find them abhorrent, they are tea partyesque loons, fruitcakes and racists

The majority of the British people want Britain to be out of the EU, yet all three main political parties are in favour of staying in. How is that democratic?

and how would the ukip sort out these problems?

I at no point said they would....

without getting into a pissing contest; you responded to my post asking why merely visiting Oldham/Rochdale would make people wanna vote ukip by saying 'you should try living there.'
In the context of this thread i would say your responses so far promote the idea that the ukip would sort it all out. If you don't believe that then what point are you trying to make?
