ULEZ Letter

Do you even have a car from before 2006?

Over 93% of cars in the UK are ULEZ compliant and don't pay anything.

And of the remaining 7%, over a third are exempt for other reasons.

So this change matters to about 2% of car drivers.

In fact, the supposed revenue coming in from this scheme of £93.6m a year works out as approx 20,000 cars. In a city with 2.6m. So that's actually 0.7% of cars in London.

There's absolute no way that all the people suddenly pretending they care about this 8 year old Boris Johnson policy are actually affected by it in any way.

If it's only going to affect about 2% of car drivers and factor in more and more going electric - then why has he bothered to bring this in at all?

A broken clock is right twice a day.

I seem to remember Boris was keen to take all the credit for Ken's bikes and the Olympics.

Only very daft people agree that air pollution in urban areas is a good idea, and nothing should be done to reduce it.

But because you can't see it, it's easier to turn a blind eye. But you can get out of your car and walk past a busy road and taste it.
God that's an old one the broken clock answer, I am reminising my school days
As I thought a none car driver with an opinion on cars

Try air pollution and it's effect on pedestrians , otherwise known as your fellow humans.

What was that about GB News having no effect on the general public :)
I should have known.
I bet he is one of those stop the oil protesters who sit in the road with a placard
