They were always going to get a somewhat easier draw with the first leg away. At least they have to travel to Russia. Its a real shame that Lyon drew Roma and Schalke drew Monchengladbach. I am hoping one of these 4 win it. Can see the winner of Lyon/Roma possibly taking it.

After their cup final on Sunday they play

March 4th. PL. Bournemouth (H)
March 9th. Europa League. Rostov (A)
March 13th. FA Cup. Chelsea (A)
March 16th Europa League Rostov (H)
March 19th. PL. Middlesbrough (A)

Jose will complain about the fixture pile up. A meltdown might be on the cards. Hoping they draw vs Chelsea and have a replay. That would be great for us. I would be surprised if they don't get past Rostov although anything is possible, Rostov have been good at home even defeating Bayern Munich 3-2. If they can keep the rags from scoring in the 1st leg they will have a good chance. Getting knocked out by Rostov would be very embarrassing for them.

Completely forgot about that change. Extra time, penalties and a few red cards would be wonderful.
Or just a repeat of their league game earlier in the season, would do wonders for the morale at the swamp and Maureen's complexion.

Haha I am torn between the two tbh. On one hand 4-0 would better than most comedy films, on the other hand Chelsea getting a red card to an important player along with extra fatigue could cause them to drop more points in the upcoming games potentially putting us back in the mix.

4-0 to Chelsea early on followed by Taylor/Clattenburg/Oliver/Mason handing out a ridiculously soft red to Hazard in a desperate attempt to even the game up, before Luiz, Costa and Kante lose the head late on and get reds for violent conduct and 3 match bans? Chelsea keep enough players on the pitch to avoid forfeiting the game, the scum get hammered by a team with only 7 players on the field of play and go out of the cup, Chelsea lose vital players at a crucial part of the season and get docked a few points for knocking the FA's favourites out failing to control their players yet again?

If Carlsberg did corruption....

You forgot the part where after getting sent off, David Luiz nuts Maureen on his way down the tunnel

Have to go all out for the FA Cup this year. Slight chance of Chelsea slipping up in the league, but the odds are against it. With these 2 facing each other at least it's 1 of the favourites out.

Things do seem to be going back to the days of the GPC for them. The Dippers loss of form presides to give them an easier run at the LC. Look's like they are going to keep getting easy draws in the EL while the other big teams face off against each other.

Pleased with Pep & know we are building . Won't be happy though if they get 2 trophies this year added to last years FA Cup. In the meantime we won nothing.
