Definitely agree with that. He just didn't want the ball, and when got it couldn't get rid quick enough
Id put some more water in it if I were you.Good result which I would have taken before the game. However, it feels like we could have buried them and put them completely out of it for the 2nd leg, whereas they still have a slight chance now.
As good as we were first half, we were equally poor 2nd half. Really sloppy stuff after the break. Could and probably should have had 6 or more.
Shows how things have changed though when I feel slightly disappointed with a 3-1 away win in semi-final derby.
we'll hammer them at home , cant see us playing as bad as the last home derbyToo many CLEAR missed opportunities have left Utd with some belief. That is my takeaway from a brilliant first half performance (Minutes 10-45) and a keepaway 2nd half.
Before the game? I’d have snatched your hand off for the result.
After the game? Disappointed we are not 4 clear going into the 2nd leg.
Early Red goal at our place makes this tie TOO interesting.
One of our players of the season-proper pro.I love Kyle Walker, he epitomises everything I love in our blue shirt, 100% commitment every time.
It's a team game, and Sterling put in a shift for the team.Class. Bit frustrating in the second half but that was embarrassing.
I have no idea how Sterling played the full game.
