For the record, I don't think Pep is above criticism. Personally, I haven't been happy with his selection of David over Foden or Kun over Jesus or, sometimes, Fernandinho at CB. But David and Kun are legends and deserve to be treated like legends. Which Pep does even though the results are not sometimes as good as expected.
I've also written that we need more energy and pace in the middle of the park. Pep isn't a god though, just a manager. We may disagree with some of his decisions but also keep in mind that every manager makes mistakes and we are happy to have one of the very best trying his very best for our club.
If we were told that the price we should pay for winning 8 out of 9 possible trophies since February 2018 and playing sublime football most of the time is losing 3 times this season from Man U, without being really outplayed by them, then most of us, maybe 99%, would accept that price. Why not? Even the best teams have problems and go through difficult periods. Perfect happiness is very rare.
