United (a) post-match thread

I'm afraid you'll print the wrong picture as you don't have much of a clue.

Don't forget to write to the club you want a manager who understands the derby and can win it as often as you like. 3 consecutive league wins at their ground are not enough.

I’ll leave it there. As fellow Blues, we shouldn’t really be having a go at each other. Have a good day, mate.

Now the dust has settled, I'm still disappointed but far less angry than I was after the full time whistle. Of course I would've liked nothing more than to beat them but we've practically already secured a top four place so from an unsentimental point of view, it's inconsequential to our season.

We have four games before the next international break. The first two are Arsenal and Burnley which we can use to build some rhythm and hopefully some confidence ahead of Real Madrid and Newcastle in the FA Cup. Those two games are crucial to the rest our season and if we come through both of them then I will have all but forgotten about this result.

For the record, I don't think Pep is above criticism. Personally, I haven't been happy with his selection of David over Foden or Kun over Jesus or, sometimes, Fernandinho at CB. But David and Kun are legends and deserve to be treated like legends. Which Pep does even though the results are not sometimes as good as expected.

I've also written that we need more energy and pace in the middle of the park. Pep isn't a god though, just a manager. We may disagree with some of his decisions but also keep in mind that every manager makes mistakes and we are happy to have one of the very best trying his very best for our club.

If we were told that the price we should pay for winning 8 out of 9 possible trophies since February 2018 and playing sublime football most of the time is losing 3 times this season from Man U, without being really outplayed by them, then most of us, maybe 99%, would accept that price. Why not? Even the best teams have problems and go through difficult periods. Perfect happiness is very rare.

Nobody deserved Ederson's mistakes, why gloss over them as if such things don't decide games?
all players make mistakes, Otto and Zinchenko were shocking, but a keeper's mistakes look terrible.

As said we got what we deserved....Nothing

If's and maybe's mate, we have to up it 100% from Sunday to try and win these next two games. I can't trust these players this season to put the required effort in to beat both Arsenal and Burnley.

It's insane, we'll never win such a large haul of trophies in such a short space of time ever again. If he is here until the end of next season I think he'll win another 4 serious honours. We have become so accustomed to success that we will happily sit and complain about a loss 7 days after winning a cup final and an away game in Madrid. He's a winning machine and when he goes we will be going back to the level of Mancini/Pellegrini's teams. Enjoy it whilst it lasts lads, ask Barcelona and Bayern fans if they wish he'd come back - you know the awnser already.

Agree entirely. The moans from some fans are Unbelievable really.

A tale of two city's at the moment . Jeez better planning around defenders for pep is a missed opportunity over these last few seasons. I know we've done well , but could have been even better, especially this season
