Yeah mate, I love Mancini too, what's not to love? Turned us in to a team to be feared and won us an FA Cup and League title.

No one can deny we are now on another level though? We've surpassed Barcelona, Madrid and Bayern as the most feared team in Europe. We've won back to back league titles, an FA Cup, 3 League Cups and 2 Charity Shields under Pep - I'd say my assumptions about winning more silverware under him are as safe as any assumption anyone could make.

You've clearly got a bee in your bonnet mate because you are responding to anyone not in crisis mode. I'll come back to you next week when we've knocked Madrid out of their competition and when we've beat Newcastle in the FA Cup 6th round to see how you feel then.

I get your main points although there is a good argument if Mancini had received real backing the summer after we won the league and got RVP and Hazard instead of we Scotty Sinclair then we could and probably would have gone on to win 3/4 titles on the bounce. Anyway that's all history and there is no disputing what a great job Pep has done.

Not saying Bayern and Barca wouldn't want Pep back, Barca surely would as they're in need of a huge rebuild. Poor recruitment has left them with a team nothing more than average without a slightly fading Messi's genius. As for Bayern though they've carried on pissing their league without Pep and right now I'd favour them out of the two of us to win this seasons champions league. Hope to be proved wrong on that one but we'd need to improve quite dramatically on current form and Bayern have shown there is life after the great man.

Two mistakes and the second one because of the need to move the ball quickly cost us a point its that simple.

We didn't deserve to win this one but we didn't deserve to lose it either despite want pundits , media , blue tinted and red tinted individuals might conjecture.

Like every game it has an outcome and we ended up on the wrong side of the ledger.

Certainly not at our best far from it and poor movement on and off the ball in our third meant we were ineffective in giving their keeper are decent work out.

As some have said Manure's 10 game unbeaten run should mean a manager who will never be in charge of a title winning side will have at least some of next season to keep them in the top 6 or thereabouts and if we played a role in that by losing to them twice then no real damage done however like all mooners and supporters would think after 95 minutes it wasn't a game where we did ourselves proud.

Your absolutely right, I think what has bothered fans the most, well I might be speaking for myself here is that with all Pep's tactical nous he has been done by Ole twice in the league. Ole hasn't the experience that Pep has nor does he have the personnel but he has come out on top both times. There are a few videos circulating that do show that United were very organized tactically and had a solid game plan. Pep didn't seem to have a game plan, made strange selection choices and for me didn't take the derby seriously even though it has no real effect on our league standing. That is the hardest bit for me to take rather than the loss.

Of course, Pep had a game plan. Even an amateur would have a game plan. However, no plan guarantees success. They had a plan when we spanked them 3:1 and were lucky to concede just 3 goals. The best plan comes to nothing when the team concedes goals from bad mistakes. The first goal gave them confidence and additional energy, and confused us a bit. Apart from that, several players were given a chance to show they could start in the big games in the CL but didn't grab it.

Post-match analyses tend to represent the outcome as perfectly logical and erase the contingencies involved in the game. Had the referee not given them that foul, the outcome might have been completely different, and the analyses as well.

Credit to the lad for filling in out of position and for his positive attitude. Unfortunately, though, he’s not having a good season this time round.

His performance v rags was one of the worst full back displays I can remember.

I agree with this. He looks superb for Ukraine in centre midfield but it is a long time since he played well for us at left back. He's not the only one mind you. The form of a few players seems to have fallen off a cliff particularly Raheem and Bernardo. It has taken me a few days to calm down after the Derby but I honestly think it is one of our worst performances for years. The other one I can recall is when we got hammered at Leicester. What made it worse was that I really think United were terrible as well and wouldn't have beaten us without gifts from the referee and Eddie.

I know I am on in a minority here, but Man United being in the CL is good for Manchester and I'd much rather them be in it than Chelsea.
