United (A) Post Match Thread

yeah sky showed a replay - Telles gets a nick on the ball and plants his foot in the turf and tbh Jesus sort of then kicks him.

certainly not a penalty

I have to humbly disagree - inconclusive as to whether he got a nick on the ball, but Jesus definitely didn’t kick Telles.

Thankfully it had no bearing on the result.

Not had a chance to run through the thread but, having been to the game, there’s one thing I’ve got to credit the rags for. The walk towards the stadium and the area surrounding it is intimidating as fuck. They haven’t lost the old school feel in the surrounding area with the pubs and chippys on Matt Busby way.

Granted, it’s a side-product of their owners having zero interest in the redevelopment of the area (noticed a fair bit of wasteland and dereliction adjacent to the ground), but it’s a positive all the same.

I hate the walk in, I hate the walk out. Hasn’t changed in the 15 or so years since I first went to OT.

Loved the two hours inside though :-)
Like you , loved the 2 hours inside. Been doing the place a bit longer, but always buzzed on that walk in and out . Never found the place intimidating , ( although I get where you're coming from) . The place and the area around it have just become a sepia tinted Disneyland full of self entitled fuckwits banging on about ' The United Way' . Today was a schooling , they know it , and they know how many years City are ahead of them.

Telles does get a little touch of the ball first, although it's only by luck as he's clearly looking to swipe at it and it brushes the side of his foot. Then he straight up kicks Jesus in the ankle. It's an out of control tackle.

They're given outside the box every time.
