Also at the full time whistle Ronaldo stromed straight down the tunnel. Didn't shake hands with anyone and didn't go back to his team mates. Just shows what a selfish prick he really is. This wasn't shown on Sky's coverage but plenty of other social media sources flagged it up

Thats not what happened. Jesus touches the ball to try and go round Telles, Telles then swings for the ball touching it very slightly but then follows thru and kicks Jesus. The question is whether that touch negates what comes after. According to the current laws it doesnt.

Getting the ball first has minimal relevance as to whether a foul has occurred. There is no reference to making contact with the ball in the section relating to Fouls and Misconduct in the Laws of the Game, but it may be considered by the referee in deciding whether contact was careless, reckless or excessively forceful.

There are six offences in which contact is made with an opponent that cause a direct free kick to be awarded: first one below

  • kicks an opponent carelessly, recklessly or with excessive force

So clear pen as tackle was careless even with the slightest of touches to the ball

He also knows he made a mighty fuck up going back there, the club will never return to the top during his remaining playing days and he knows it so much.

The twat is hurting and hurting badly, and how lovely it is to witness.

 
I'll read & enjoy this thread over rte fucking international break but likely most of what is post will already be in the thread.

There was however, a point in the first half, the third or fourth time FCRon motioned the rag players to close us down at the back when they actually moved forward as a unit, only happened once. Then from off camera Kev sprinted back to give us an extra option and the raggy press died never to be seen again.

Not the most dynamic but of the game but one of the most pleasing.

The ball wasn't long gone. It was still there to be played as Oliver hadn't had time to blow for the foul by Fernandes.

It's the only excuse for not showing red, but Oliver should have booked Fernandes as well.

Some late tackles unpunished too as we kept possession, but Bernardo "let people know he was there" as they say... Got his retaliation in first.

Totally agree. Every game on TV always shows Fergie in the crowd either looking happy or angry. He is still managing the club by proxy.

Mourinho doesn't suffer fools and whether you like him or not, he knows a fair bit about football and winning trophies. For him to say finishing 2nd with them was his biggest achievement tells you a lot about the club inside and out.

They won't sack PE teacher after a Derby humiliation. I wouldn't be surprised if the club said he needs the rest of the season either. He's cheap and I think is in place until the squads in a better shape. The fans aren't going to be asking for his head either, not in the ground anyway so the owners are under no pressure. They could argue they are in the running for the title, albeit they'd be deluded but they aren't too far off.

Fergie ran the club in his own image, but it's moved on. He must thank his lucky stars he never had to face Klopp and Pep and Tuchel is one season. They are FAR better managers than he was.
 
Interesting that Dias , gundo , cancelo stepped forward yesterday to wish the referee a good game full of confidence utd didn’t they were clearly bricking it in tunnel no leader no where to turn fuck all about them . The game was won before we touched the ball.the days of winning Derby’s on emotion are long gone it’s about ability and know how and professionalism which the vermin have none . As I posted last night that lot are miles behind us in every way.

None of the pundits with a United connection will call for him to be sacked (because he is a nice guy!! ) Not often I agree but on this stance I do.Keep him at the wheel for as long as possible!!!!!!!
