150 normally on 3 corperate coaches, far more to supporters cubs.

Just because fans go to a game on a coach doesn't mean they should have an extra allocation.

Really, you know this for fact ? Not sure what the last sentence means either.

I'll ask the question of the supporters club though.

It was in CoMS Sales Brochure.

I used to get it once until I changed jobs. 1 coach of 50 to liverpool , 50 to Arsenal 150 to united.

I has never been hidden. They always said it was no more than 5% which works out.

The Thaksin Derby, he took 500 in the south stand, which reduced the supporters allocation.

The problem was always tickets going out the back door, which was clamped down on around 2006 (from anecdotal evidence and from the points).

The coach thing was about supporters clubs. However, Jason Manford being able to get tickets for a big away as he has 'friends' in the ticket office suggest that it is not the supporters clubs who are the problem.

Been to the last 10 united away, not bothering with this one, sick of the place, so I am non biased.

I'll be able to confirm if a said person is once again going to the derby via a branch, with little or no loyalty points. He told me he has got a ticket, but I will ask him again next week, just to make sure.

I have absolutely no problem with OSC members or none members who have done the rounds and put the effort in getting a derby ticket. They deserve it.

If they have more loyalty points than me, meaning I miss out, so be it.

This subject only ever crops up in the weeks before derby day, its never an issue for any other game.
you've said this a few times and my response would be:

I've never had an issue for any other game as I've always got a ticket
I've said many a time throughout this thread that I've rarely missed a game for a while, including the last four derbies at the swamp

it crops up at derby time because genuine 'loyal' supporters do lose out to johnny come latelys, who don't have enough points but manage to get tickets through some of the branches

Thanks, I'll see if I can find out how many the supporters club were allocated, like you I don't think they are the issue either, because there was a similar tightening of allocations about 2007.

I think this year is much simpler, we're closer than ever to united, the top, and having our best season in 35 years, so the interest is greater, and simply more people with the points wanted to go.

Squirty I know why it (only) crops up for this game, yes its because some don't get a ticket, but the easiest target is supporters clubs, and I do understand some of the concerns, but all those that apply to the supporters clubs, also apply to anyone who does have the points but are not members of a supporters club, as I tongue in cheek made clear several pages ago.

"Fair enough" is my opinion on that.A while ago was it?

Ive had a Season Ticket since 79 and I would have missed out if I'd wanted to go to that shit hole. My points are pretty good and I go to as many away games as ppossible and Europe but ithout a job I'm struggling now to keep up. It does piss me off though that fans who are going home and away every week can't get one. There is something wrong with the system and it can't just be that some have built up a huge tally through longevity cause it doesn't work for me.

To be honest though the problem rests with the swamp on this one. Biggest stadium outside of Wembley and the allocation is piss poor and that's where our anger and frustration should be aimed at. They've lost sight of what was good about football in the 70s and that's the atmosphere. You can see it in the cup matches when the allocations are fairer all round. The Rags should be giving us at least 6,000 for this fixture and they could easily do that. It's a fcking Derby. If we had a 75,000 stadium I'd be comfortable with them getting 6,000. Ive been to Maine Road when they nearly had half the ground in the 80s ffs.

My only hope is that when it comes to Dublin and Wembley the true fans will get tickets. Responsibility for this problem though rests squarely with the Rags for being unreasonable and selfish.
